Yesterday I had a rehearsal for The Taming of the Shrew (which I believe I've mentioned before). The performance is on wednesday, and we nowhere near ready. But I'm sure it'll be alright on the night. I hope. I went straight from school to Nandos in Turnham Green. Nandos is a Porutguese restaurant-chain which specialises in chicken. Absolutely delicious. I had sweetcorn, half a chicken and a large portion of chips, with a 'bottomless soft drink' (as much coke as I can handle). I cannot think of a nice meal. Excpet, possibly, one cooked by parents. Managed to fine my way home, and watched 'My Best Friend's Wedding', which is terrible, but quite fun. Then ate trifle and watched the Fast Show. So, all-in-all, a good day.

Today I went to HMV with F. Had a lovely time, and got Placebo: Black Market Music. Which means I now have three of the four Placebo albums. And I'm likely to be getting a signed copy of Sleeping With Ghosts soon. The plan is all falling into place. I'm going to the 'Youth Alpha' thing tonight. The only reason I go, really, is because I like the people. It's interesting, I suppose, from a Christian point of view, but I disagree with quite a lot of it. I'm happier just pottering along making the occasional prayer under my breath than condemning things and trying to convert people. That never works anyway.

Hello - I have to mention here that Eldest was actually up and lurking in front of the television until well after 12am. Knowing that we were occupied entertaining family and friends in the kitchen. The trifle she was finishing off, was the pudding of the dinner. O well. It wasn't a school night. And she gets to sleep in the next day. Perhaps I am just jealous.

Hello - check out my blog for a description of the evening from the audience's point of view. Was completely brilliant! http://journals.aol.com/journalsuk/AMum'sTale

We had been blogging trying to find how our world sees restaurant and bar. It has been a lifeline for us. Your site provides some of the best examples of this sort and we will bookmark yours. Another one we found was and appears to be related to yours is restaurant and bar site/blog. It pretty much covers restaurant and bar related stuff.
